How to play Excitebike: Bun-bun Mario Battle on Mac

Game summary

Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle is a remake/adaptation of the NES title, Excitebike. In this game, all human motorcyclists were replaced with Mario characters. As a Satellaview title, Nintendo developed the video game and released four versions of it through the satellite download service operated by St.GIGA, each expanding on or replacing the features of the last. Audio broadcasting of the game is both advice on the game and voice drama told by characters. Voice actors are the same as that of "BS Super Mario USA", but Excitebike adds a new character, Wario (Chikao Ootsuka).
First released: Nov 1997

Play Excitebike: Bun-bun Mario Battle on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Excitebike: Bun-bun Mario Battle on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
