Game summary

Sparkster makes his triumphant arrival on next-gen platforms with Rocket Knight, the newest chapter in the classic side-scrolling rocket action series. Our favorite opossum hero returns home after 15 years to find the kingdom of Zephyrus in shambles. Use your wits and Sparkster’s trusty rocket pack to dodge and defeat a menacing wolf army threatening the lives of his people. Rocket Knight is a revival of the Sparkster series, which first began with Rocket Knight Adventures. The game is a sequel to the Sega Genesis game Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and not a remake of Rocket Knight Adventures.
First released: May 2010

Play Rocket Knight on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Rocket Knight on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
