How to play Funky Python on Mac

Game summary

Funky Python is a rendition of Snake and, as such, the object is to move the python around the screen, eat food and avoid obstacles and its own tail. Point to a spot on the screen and the python will move to that spot. When Funky eats three of the same colored fruits or insects in a row, they turn orange and are added to his tail. A click of the left mouse button lets him snatch food at a distance with his tongue. As his tail grows longer, it is more challenging to move him across the screen but inches him closer to the end of the level.
First released: Dec 2008

Play Funky Python on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Funky Python on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
