Game summary

Chapter Master is an unofficial fan project where the player commands a Chapter, an autonomous, largely self-sufficient unit, of Space Marines to defend the Imperium of Mankind from various alien and human threats. The player must contend with enemy forces, the dangers of space travel, and the internal politics of the empire to keep their chapter alive and win glory to their name. The game is heavily inspired by Master of Orion 2, drawn from a 2011 thread of speculation on 4chan. The most current version of the game can be downloaded from the thread on Bay12 forums.

Play Chapter Master on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Chapter Master on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
