Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World is a coin-operated pinball machine released to commercial buyers in the U.S.A. It is the direct sequel of Super Mario Bros., which was released two months earlier. Unlike its predecessor, Mushroom World was more focused on commercial buyers, as it was given redemption features. Gameplay is based on the NES game Super Mario Bros. 3, as the cabinet displays the game artwork of the Koopalings and uses power-ups during gameplay such as Frog Mario and Raccoon Mario.

The easiest way to play Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Step 1
Go to Parallels.com and download the latest version of the software.
Step 2

When prompted, download and install Windows 10. The download is around 5.7GB. Make sure you give it all the permissions that it asks for.
Step 4
Once Windows is done installing, you are ready to go. All that’s left to do is install Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World like you would on any PC.
