Game summary

The easiest way to play Shuki Shuki Daishuki!! on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Gameplay

Shuki Shuki Daishuki follows the gameplay mechanics of a typical visual novel with you being the main character, have to spend most of your time between dialogues and choosing options. The game also allows you to pick between multiple girls to romance.

You will get one of the multiple endings based on your decisions throughout the game. 

Plot

You take on the role of Youji, who is persuaded by his elder sister Mimi to get a job as the manager of a fancy shop. Incidentally, the shop also happens to be visited by little girls. 

As you progress through the story, you meet Chikage, Tamara, and Aoi. Chikage is a girl who helps around the shop. Tamara is the next-door pure Russian girl. Aoi is a former idol who now spends her days living in the park.

Characters

  • Youji: Youji is a regular guy like any other. He has lived a normal life until now; his elder sister forces him to get a job at a fancy café! Youji will soon find himself in a very interesting situation.
  • Chikage: Chikage is a very timid but helpful girl who likes to work for peoples’ smiles. 
  • Tamara: Tamara is the main focus amongst the girls, with the game clearly emphasizing that she’s a pure Russian girl.
  • Aoi: Aoi is a girl who appears to be very good at being social. This is because of her idol past.
