Play CR Persona 4 the PACHINKO on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play CR Persona 4 the PACHINKO on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes

Cr Persona 4 The Pachinko is a mobile and pc game based on the popular anime series, Persona 4. It features some of the main characters, animations, sound effects, and scenes from the anime and incorporates them into the gameplay. Fans of the anime love watching their favorite characters pop up in this virtual version of the popular Japanese arcade game.

It first started with the release of Persona 4-themed pachislot machines which soon became a sensation in Japanese arcades. Fans naturally loved what they saw and wanted a virtual version that they could take anywhere. So naturally, the developers obliged, and here we are.

Plot:

Cr Persona 4 The Pachinko has no plot or storyline, just some good old-fashioned Pachinko. The game's objective is to win as many balls as possible and exchange them for prizes. The trick is the hit the balls at the right slot; doing so will win you more balls to continue the game. However, you'll lose the game if you fail to hit any slots and run out of balls.

Every time you make progress in the game, the machine will play a short clip or illustration from the anime. Some of these clips are brand-new and have never been seen by fans, which makes playing the game all the more worth it.

Gameplay:

If you were expecting to see an action-packed game version of the Persona 4 anime, then we're afraid you'll be disappointed with this one. Cr Persona 4, The Pachinko, has nothing to do with the anime in reality. While it showcases some of the anime characters, it only slightly enhances the pachinko machine.

In reality, Cr Persona 4, The Pachinko, is nothing else but a virtual Pachinko machine. Sure, it uses scenes where characters are conducting special moves, but it's just for show; you're still just playing on a pachinko machine.

Those little scenes and animations are only used to increase the impact of the pachinko machine, and to be truthful, it does elevate the quality of 'action.'
