How to play Cape’s Escape Game 4th Room on Mac

Game summary

The main character invites his girlfriend Todomi out on a super low-cost trip to the hot springs. Of course, Todomi rejects him.
Being super low-cost, he can’t cancel his trip. Heartbroken with tears in his eyes, he forces himself to set off on his trip.
But even 1980 yen is way too cheap for a trip with meals included.

Sure enough, turns out that the main character’s one night stay is not at some ordinary Japanese-style inn. It comes with an escape game.
Solve riddles to help the main character escape from this traditional Japanese hot spring inn.

Play Cape’s Escape Game 4th Room on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Cape’s Escape Game 4th Room on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
