Play Batman: Arkham Knight on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Batman: Arkham Knight on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Batman Arkham Knight was released in 2015, and it is the final masterpiece of the franchise and, clearly, the most popular of all. The developers, Rocksteady Studios, have outdone themselves in bringing the comic book world into an awesome polished game with almost perfect mechanics.
The Arkham Knight features a more massive world of Gotham with new enemies, and you can finally drive the batmobile along with other toys and go wild using them throughout the city. You also get to experience stylish combat, amazing stealth sequences, and some of the franchise's best features.
Plot
The storyline of Batman Arkham Knight picks up right after the story of Arkham City, where the joker is DEAD, and the city of Gotham seems peaceful for once. But the worst city has got something up its sleeves; they are soon introduced to the supervillain Scarecrow.
There is a mass evacuation in the city of Gotham after it was threatened by Scarecrow, leaving only bums and crooks to roam freely. The entire city is plagued with crimes, and our savior Batman declares war against them.
Gameplay
With the city evacuated and crowded with bums and crooks, it becomes a playground for Batman to unleash his fury with some of the finest brawling and gadget-using experiences you'll ever get in a game.
The open world lets you roam around the streets with freedom and do side quests or follow the main story plot while searching for clues, looking for the mastermind behind the terror. It's a lot of brutal violence that comes with beautiful animated visuals.
You can also glide around the city using the new and improved grapnel-assisted gliding, which makes you feel like you're flying once you fully upgrade it. The blend of stealth, puzzle, action, and adventure is enough to get your adrenaline pumping wild.
