Game summary
Play Ancestors Legacy on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Ancestors Legacy on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Ancestors Legacy is a strategy game that was released for the PC, Xbox, and PS 4. It is not the best strategy game out there, but it does give players a good challenge. This game was further released for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
This game did not perform well on the PC and consoles, but it was better on the Nintendo Switch.
Plot
Ancestors Legacy revolves around the tale told by Saladin, the ruler of Egypt and Syria. This game includes a new Saracen nation that goes on a new mission away from European soil. It is an entirely different storyline, unlike the previous versions of this game.
This game features five new missions and 3 added multiplayer maps. On completing your tasks, you will also receive new achievements. Based on the controls, this game has a trace of Company of Heroes with a bit of LOTR.
Gameplay
Ancestors Legacy allows you to build a limited number of squads, assigning a unit to each of them. You are allotted an area where you can build your base for your squad. You are allowed to select the types of structures you want to be built at your base.
You can get resources from villages around the map by burning their warehouses. After that, you can build defensive structures at the base by assigning people.
This game has two modes: the single-player and multiplayer modes. The single-player mode comprises the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. Each of these civilizations is made to go to campaigns in this game.
The multiplayer mode allows players to have a maximum of 10 squads while going on campaigns. These campaigns take place in the Domination and Annihilation modes. The battles in the multiplayer mode can take place in as many as 15 maps.
