How to play 2nd Space on Mac

Game summary

Never released, 2nd Space is a Game Boy puzzle game with strongly resembles Pac-Man. In this title, you play as a kind of small car to pass on all the boxes of a fixed screen. When you completely enclose a geometric shape, it turns to show an image fragment. Your objective is to return the entire image pieces without getting hit by the creatures that lurk in the level. These pass through the walls and throw projectiles that you need to ensure dodge them too. Finishing a level, you can admire the sketch as a whole and move to the next stage. Bonus items appear occasionally to freeze your enemies for example. It is also possible to defeat an opponent by turning a piece of image as it passes over.
First released: Dec 1993

Play 2nd Space on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play 2nd Space on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
