Game summary

Manage your escape from an onslaught of walkers in this cross-over between the time management escape game The Escapists and the blockbuster zombie franchise The Walking Dead. Using the retro graphical style of The Escapists, the game gives you control of Rick Grimes as he tries to secure the safety of a number of familiar characters by seeking out a safe escape route from each area, fending off the zombie hordes and keeping as many of them alive as possible as they escape. The game will faithfully keep to the timeline of the comics, so as you progress you'll move through a series of familiar locations.

Play The Escapists: The Walking Dead on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play The Escapists: The Walking Dead on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
