Play Sunday Rivals on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Sunday Rivals on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Sunday Rivals is a fully customizable, hard-hitting arcade-style football game published by 26'k on the 16th of May 2022, and it's been getting all the attention it deserves.
The game features block-like football players that resemble lego characters who rile up the fun and the unique spirit of a 90's sports game while adding various modern features to it. While comparing to its genre of being an Indie video game, its graphics are unmatched.
The game is set to test your reflexes and quick thinking with chances of making spectacular plays while dishing out concussions to your opponents.
Gameplay
Sunday Rivals invites even the hardcore players and gamers just starting with this genre to mix up and enjoy a game of football with a blend of realism and arcade applied to its rules.
The streamlined playbooks that each team is provided with have 5 different packages on defense and offense. Remember that each package contains five refined plays, so you will get twenty-five total plays on offense and defense.
Not only can you make big plays, customize your characters, and make jukes and special moves that can impress your opponent easily, they let you customize the whole show. You have full control over your custom leagues and other game features, like picking out the stadium colors, the type of grass you want, and so forth.
If you leave the exhibition mode aside, the game offers you two different modes: the deep season mode and the head hunter.
The season mode has 8 games in total and lets you choose your team and battle it out through it all to achieve the highest glory, winning the championship trophy.
On the other hand, the headhunter mode is far from your traditional sports game mode as it lets you play your team through a 4-round, elimination-type tournament, and points are racked using a scoring system much like in a fantasy football style.
