Game summary

More bridges coming down for you ! The goal hasn't changed a bit between Pontifex and Pontifex 2: it's still all about building bridges. Nevertheless, even if you're a seasoned Pontifex player there is much to discover in this game. More materials have been added, suspension bridges can now be made. And if your bridges could hardly withstand the weight of a single train, just think of several crossing at once your bridge... But the most interesting new aspect of this game is probably the possibilty of making drawbridges: at last, you can prove that if you had been the engineer of the tower bridge, it would have ended being a much more fun - but maybe not as reliable - bridge.

Play Pontifex 2 on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Pontifex 2 on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
