Game summary
Luminosity is a fast paced arcade game. You take the control of a space ship and your objective is to close off the enemy drones and conquer a certain percent of the map in order to blow them up. Things quickly escalate and you face an increasing number of unique and challenging enemies and environments all trying to destroy your laser and blow your ship to pieces. To your aid you have a wide range of different Power Ups as well as the ability to upgrade your ship permanently between games. With randomly generated backgrounds and levels, the arcade mode stays fresh and new. Combined with the campaign this allows for endless hours of exciting gameplay.

Play Luminosity on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Luminosity on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
