Game summary

Destination Treasure Island is a light hearted swashbuckling sequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 1888 novel Treasure Island. Jim Hawkins, who fled with his share of Long John Silver's treasure as a small boy, has become the Captain of his own ship and is thrown into a race for a hoard of buried treasure. Set sail for the mysterious Emerald Isle with the aid of your parrot and a rhyming riddle, but beware: other pirates are after the treasure and the race is on to see who can reach it first!
First released: Dec 2006

Play Destination Treasure Island on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Destination Treasure Island on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
