Game summary
Creatures of Aether is a new dungeon crawling card combat game set in the Aether universe, where you collect creatures and use them in tactical 1v1 battles.
Set in the same world as the pixel art platform fighting game Rivals of Aether, in Creatures of Aether you let your cards do the fighting rather than your fists. It’s currently in development by the Rivals of Aether team and Tako Boy Studios (creators of Candies ‘n Curses) and sees you battling your way through dungeons and collecting creatures in card form. Creatures all have their unique stats and Rival cards have powerful unique abilities.
First released: Sep 2020
Play Creatures of Aether on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Creatures of Aether on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
