Game summary

Take control of a Formula 1 team (or customize your own), and try to be the Champion of the world, in this management simulation. Deal with everything in your team: sign in engine supply contracts, develop your car, attract new sponsors, and hire the best drivers in the world to drive for your own team. In the race, be sure to choose the best tyre and pit stop strategy, to win some places in the grid. The game has several playable seasons: the 1976 F1 season, with Lauda and Hunt competing; the 1991 F1 Season, with Ayrton, Piquet, Mansell and Prost in the grid; and the 2000 F1 Season, with Michael Schumacher being the one to beat. The game has an in-built Hall of Fame, to which the drivers may be inducted into, if they win titles and races enough. There are also 10 Achievements to be unlocked, throughout the seasons. Some of them are really hard to unlock (like winning the Drivers Championship with Rubens Barrichello), which makes this game really challenging.
First released: May 2014

Play Cockpit Manager '14 on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Cockpit Manager '14 on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
