How to play X-Pipes Evolution on Mac
Game summary
X-Pipes Evolution is a revamped version of the old Factor Software's classic MacPipes.
It keeps the same familiar gameplay of it successful predecessor while adding eye-poppin' cartoonish graphics, mind relaxing music and high quality sound effects.
In this game you play the role of a tiny robot plumber called Roderick in a quest to solve plumbing problems scattered over several different worlds.
Your goal is to hook up pipe parts on a grid to create a pipeline of required length before the fluid reaches the last connected pipe.
Can you help Roderick save his universe from flooding?
First released: Nov 2013
Play X-Pipes Evolution on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play X-Pipes Evolution on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
