Game summary

Swarog is an unique real-time strategy game set in ancient Russia. There is the story of a violent Pagan God and the people he leads to victory over their enemies. In a series of missions your leadership ability is put to the test and you have to gather food, wood and ore in order to take care of your peasants. Then tax them as you need to raise an army to protect your subjects from attack by the vicious invasion forces that threaten your borders. You can choose from the two scenarios, ones for Kranks or Luzhevyans. Each mission consists of several levels, each level has its own major task to accomplish in order to achieve victory.

Play Swarog on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Swarog on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
