How to play Sound of the Sky: Maiden Quintet on Mac

Game summary

An adventure game based on the TV anime "Sound of the Sky". Members of the 1121st Platoon, a defense unit composed entirely of girls, are depicted struggling to perform at a music festival. Original characters that are not in the original also appear, and the story progresses with a little fan service happening. This work adopts a multi-view system, and the player can select the character who will be the "hero of the day" for each day and enjoy the scenario from each viewpoint. In addition, a parameter called "playing ability" is set for each character, and the playing ability goes up and down in daily events, and everyone's level can be confirmed "by ear" in daily practice.
First released: May 2010

Play Sound of the Sky: Maiden Quintet on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Sound of the Sky: Maiden Quintet on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
