How to play Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 28: Tetris Collection on Mac
Game summary
As the name suggests, Tetris Collection contains a number of Sega-published versions of Tetris, Flash Point and Bloxeed. Not only can the original arcade games be played, but you can also view arcade fliers and listen to the game's sounds from a special menu selected with Select.
Unique to this collection is the Sega Mega Drive port of Tetris, including full box and manual scans, and a prototype ROM of a cancelled Mega Drive port of Flash Point, both of which were prevented from being sold due to presumed licensing problems.
First released: Sep 2006
Play Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 28: Tetris Collection on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 28: Tetris Collection on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
