How to play Project Waves on Mac

Game summary

Project Waves is a Shonen/Slice-of-Life action game, based on the intense battles and relaxing downtime found in retro anime. When the real world begins to mesh with fantasy, ordinary people seek to use mystic wishing wells to bring their desires into reality. Inspired by games such as Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi, Shenmue, and various Nintendo games, players will guide various protagonists though cities, dungeons, and an onslaught of evolving enemies. With literal ground-shattering special moves and flashy combat, players will brush off their armor and saunter back to town for a bite to eat with their friends when all is said and done - just like the genres that the game is based on.

Play Project Waves on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Project Waves on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
