Game summary
Lords of Delusia is a 2D Space RPG / Space Shooter.
It brings elements of a thriving market system, trading, and missions that were popularised in games like Freelancer, and combines this with the random looting, skill point and experience system that exists in many ARPGs.
A rich storyline spanning 5 empires: Delsec, Vipersec, Griffon, Chimera, and Reina with their own galaxy control across 73 solar systems with 500 unique locations to discover.
A combat system reminiscent of the old Arcade bullet hell shooters, combining modern visuals and audio to bring an adrenaline fueled and cinematic experience to the genre.
First released: Feb 2018
Play Lords of Delusia on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Lords of Delusia on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
