Game summary
Play Kirby no Omochabako: Ball Rally on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Kirby no Omochabako: Ball Rally on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Kirby No Omochabako Ball Rally is an obstacle game where the player has to escort balls through a path full of spikes. Kirby takes the form of pink balls that are dropped from a door, and you have to help guide them to the exit.
Plot
The game’s plot is to guide the Kirby balls to the exit, avoiding the spikes along the length of the course. The balls are dropped one after the other.
The balls are constantly in motion, so it is essential to stretch the proper levers to escort them through the safe zones. They will keep dropping continuously, and must ensure that they reach the exit.
Gameplay
This game has simple gameplay that involves pressing a button to guide the balls. You need to use the right timing to execute the moves, which is very important in deciding the fate of the balls.
The main screen will pop up as you prepare to play the game, showing you a Start option. You must click the Start button to commence playing the game.
In this game, Kirby and King Dedede take the form of pink balls and they must pass through a very challenging obstacle course. It does not involve multiple buttons, which can help the balls to survive or respawn miraculously.
Instead, there are green levels on the obstacle course, which you can extend and retract by using a button. Press Button A to extend the green levers whenever the ball is about to pass through an open space on the obstacle course. If you fail to do so, the ball will fall and hit the spikes.
Each ball you help guide to the exit will earn you a point, and you must do this repeatedly until the last of the 50 Kirby balls pass safely through the exit.
