Play Kingdom Hearts III on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Kingdom Hearts III on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Kingdom Hearts III is an action RPG that includes a lot of action. There are many epic battle scenes where you have to be quick and wipe out packs of enemies, using exciting combos and casting magic spells.
There aren’t many brutal battle scenes, but the number of enemies you have to eliminate is countless. The final stages can be challenging when you meet the boss for a stand-off. However, the fight scenes are not gruesome at all and are all family-friendly.
The game has many worlds to explore, consisting of different intriguing characters. Kingdom Hearts III is not a game everybody will understand unless you have played all the previous versions. A basic description of the game would be a combination of two different worlds.
Plot
The plot of Kingdom Hearts III seems quite simple but can be confusing for people new to the game. In this game, an evil organization wants to collect all seven hearts, with which they conspire to do something harmful. Playing the role of Sora, you are supposed to stop the evil group and save the world with the help of your two comrades.
However, it is not as easy as it sounds, as Sora’s abilities have been weakened in the previous Kingdom Hearts versions. He has to get his powers back to have a chance of defeating The Organization.
Since Sora has no memory of how he lost his powers, he sets off on a journey of unknown paths with his two mates to find the answer. They come across Hercules along the way and join him in fighting against Hades and Kingdom Hearts’ main enemies.
Final Thought
Kingdom Hearts III is a good action RPG game for people who have played the previous versions and understand the backstory. It is not ideal for new players as the storyline might be confusing.
However, this game will be a joy for Disney fans to play because of the familiar characters from Disney movies.
