Among other things, you will need to uncover a conspiracy of scientists who will try to experiment and stop them. Punishment will be cruel! As it becomes clear from the name, the events of the game will unfold on the territory of modern Chernobyl. However, no relation to the real story - the project has not. The player acts as a young guard who arrives on the territory of the Nuclear Reactor to fulfill his official duties. Later he notices that there are strangers somewhere on the object. What have they forgotten here? The answer lies on the surface. Someone is planning to capture a nuclear reactor for their own purposes. It's time to act! Stop the terrorists and restore the security of the object before it is too late. But unfortunately, it soon becomes clear - the terrorists are only the tip of the iceberg. What secrets are in the walls of this complex? what conspiracy are scientists talking about? And what kind of project was it developed secretly by the government?
First released: Nov 2003

Play Half-Life: Chernobyl on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Half-Life: Chernobyl on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
