How to play Game & Watch: Life Boat on Mac

Game summary

This G&W game uses the concept of rescuing passengers jumping from the deck of a ship, by trying to land them in two lifeboats attached to a string, being pulled by two men. Each of the previously mentioned lifeboats can only contain four passengers at a time!. Once that number is reached, passengers will only be welcomed in the sea by sharks. Unloading the lifeboats to save the passengers from this fate is mandatory. Game B ups the ante by deploying only one lifeboat instead of the two in Game B. The pace and frequency of the passengers will increase accordingly.
First released: Oct 1983

Play Game & Watch: Life Boat on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Game & Watch: Life Boat on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
