How to play Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Mac
Game summary
Play Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Fire Emblem: Three Houses on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
For gamers who are fans of role-playing and have a knack for tactical gameplay, Fire Emblem Three Houses is a game that would scratch that itch. Developed by Intelligent Systems and Koei Tecmo, Fire Emblem Three Houses was released in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
Premise
Players dive into the continent of Fodlan, where three ruling powers are currently at peace. All three nations have a chokepoint at the Garreg Mach Monastery, which trains officers for each nation and houses a church.
You take on the role of Byleth, who is a former mercenary and now a professor for the officers' academy. The whole premise is that players choose a class and guide them to be good warriors through numerous battles.
Gameplay
The turn-based battle system returns from the previous Fire Emblem games. You get control of a unique set of units to fight your battles. You move these characters across a grid, and during the battle mode, the camera shifts to a third-person view.
Every one of these units is assigned to a character class, which you can customize according to your wishes. You can also learn other abilities to use in battle with a starting ability.
Apart from battles, you can move across the game world and interact with NPCs. You have the ability to build social relationships with them by choosing the right dialogue options.
The player has a fixed number of days noted on a calendar that may be utilized for various tasks, such as instructing courses and leading field trips sowing seedlings in the greenhouse, and fishing in the pond.
The gameplay involves you actually being in the world, interacting and socializing, and doing other activities as compared to the previous games, where it was mostly linear.
