Play Ever17: The Out of Infinity on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Ever17: The Out of Infinity on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Ever 17 is a love adventure game that has a very stimulating plot. The game’s adventure experience is very underrated as most people like to focus more on female interactions. The story is the central part of Ever 17, as there is not much gameplay involved here.
The game is a visual novel developed in the Japanese style. It is not the typical romance video game where you go for straight-up dating. It uses true life events, people, theories, etc., to create a great sense of combination.
Ever 17 was released on the PC, and that is where you will get the best experience.
Plot
The storyline involves a group of young kids trapped in a theme park on an island in Japan. As they get separated, one of them, Takeshi, searches for his friends around the theme park.
As he goes around, he meets another person named Kid. These two children are confronted by strange characters in the midst of all the confusion. There is a point where Kid passes out, and Takeshi helps bring him to the infirmary to rest.
After that, Takeshi leaves Kid and goes on in search of his friends around the theme park. He meets a girl with dark hair who is annoyed by Takeshi’s presence. Suddenly, Takeshi also blacks out, and you get to choose whether you want to play as Takeshi or Kid.
Gameplay
The gameplay depends on which role you choose, as specific characters have longer interaction periods. Ever 17 has eleven endings, so if you choose Takeshi, you will have longer interactions with Tsugumi.
The other choice is to play a Kid and has no interactions with Tsugumi, except in the case of You. The more you get into the game, the more the storyline will unfold in this game.
