Densha de D Lighting Stage (Train D Lightning Stage) is a three dimensional train battle game based upon Initial D, a popular manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. The protagonist Takumi Fujiwara along with four characters of the series will return in a fast-paced arcade style racing by using densha (Japanese train). Each train compete in unique ways and the game encourage player to "powerslide" the train to keep up their speed by drifting through a turn. There are three game modes; Dramatic Mode, a single player story mode; Battle Mode, a two player battle in split screen; Replay Mode which lets player to replay their memorable battles. Densha de D Lighting Stage is the first game of the series and was released at Comiket 78, on August 14, 2010.

The easiest way to play Densha de D: Lightning Stage on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Step 1
Go to Parallels.com and download the latest version of the software.
Step 2
Follow the installation process and make sure you allow Parallels in your Mac’s security preferences (it will prompt you to do so).
Step 3
When prompted, download and install Windows 10. The download is around 5.7GB. Make sure you give it all the permissions that it asks for.
Step 4
Once Windows is done installing, you are ready to go. All that’s left to do is install Densha de D: Lightning Stage like you would on any PC.
