How to play Daytona USA on Mac
Game summary
Daytona USA 2001 is a remake of the arcade classic Daytona USA with upgraded graphics and expanded features. The game contains the original three arcade tracks, the two extra tracks from the Championship Circuit Edition, and three new tracks exclusive to this version, all of which can be reversed and/or mirrored for additional layouts. In addition to the usual time attack and single-track races, there is also a Championship mode that strings together multiple courses, as well as online play that was briefly available after the game's launch.

Play Daytona USA on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Daytona USA on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
