Chronicle: RuneScape Legends was a turn-based strategy card game by Jagex Games Studio set in the universe of the MMORPG RuneScape.
The game has a unique format and setting. From inside a magical book, players use their deck of cards to create a quest for their legend. Legends earn gold as they progress through the quest, fighting enemy cards, which players can spend to aid their legends. Enemy players will be creating their own quests and may steal gold or weapons. In the end, players do battle against each other, with the victor being the last one standing.
It was a multiplayer game that was planned to have integration with RuneScape in the form of gaining additional cards. The beta version was released on 25 November 2015 and was officially released on Steam on 26 May 2016.
On 8 May 2018, it was announced that the game would be removed due to "multiple technical issues" combined with a dwindling player base. The servers for the game remained running until 6 August

Play Chronicle: RuneScape Legends on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Chronicle: RuneScape Legends on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
Chronicle: RuneScape Legends installation steps for Mac
Step 1
Go to Parallels.com and download the latest version of the software.
Step 2
Follow the installation process and make sure you allow Parallels in your Mac’s security preferences (it will prompt you to do so).
Step 3
When prompted, download and install Windows 10. The download is around 5.7GB. Make sure you give it all the permissions that it asks for.
Step 4
Once Windows is done installing, you are ready to go. All that’s left to do is install Chronicle: RuneScape Legends like you would on any PC.
