How to play Anstoss 4: Edition 03/04 on Mac

Game summary

One year after Anstoss 4, an error-corrected and extended version of Anstoss 4 was published with Anstoss 4 Edition 03/04. The text and 3D modes have been completely revised and made clearer and more user-friendly. Buyers of the previous version were offered an inexpensive exchange for the new edition. This edition was considered a kind of compensation for the fans; shortly before Christmas 2003, Ascaron released a free fan patch that integrated some of the features requested by fans into the game.
First released: Dec 2003

Play Anstoss 4: Edition 03/04 on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play Anstoss 4: Edition 03/04 on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
