How to play Ace Attorney Investigations 2 on Mac
Game summary
Play Ace Attorney Investigations 2 on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)
The easiest way to play Ace Attorney Investigations 2 on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.
Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.
Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).

🕹 Editor's notes
Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is an adventure-style game by Capcom which gained its huge popularity due to its amazingly sketchy plots, wild investigations, and the game's overall unique atmosphere.
The game was released in Japan, and there was no subbed or dubbed version of it. However, the dedicated fan base decided to form a team to fully translate the whole game, which resulted in Attorney Investigations 2 gaining a lot more popularity over the years.
Plot
The game takes you on an emotional roller coaster as you embark on your journey as the main protagonist, Miles Edgeworth, a brilliant criminal prosecutor. He is a badass and dedicated to putting criminals behind bars.
In the beginning, someone tries to frame Miles by putting a dead body in his office. To find the culprit responsible for this and to clear his name, he sets out on a journey to find the truth but is met with cases filled with conspiracy and mystery.
Gameplay
Much like the original investigation plot, the game allows you to roam around all sorts of different locations in search of evidence and gather testimonies from various witnesses. Even though not much has changed in this sequel, there are new casts to look out for.
You will find out that the new casts have made the sequel more enjoyable with their unique character traits that have a way with the events that transpired throughout the game.
There is also a new addition to the gameplay called Logic chess. You find yourself interrogating people in a fast time setting, and you have the option to press them more with questions or set them free temporarily, hoping they recklessly spill the beans after. The mode challenges you to think quickly, much like a professional investigator.
