How to play 1000 Miglia on Mac

Game summary

March 26, 1927, the starting gun is about to signal the drivers to begin a brand new race, an automobile race which was so enormously difficult to set up that its creators honestly believed that this race would be the first and last of its kind: the 1000 MIGLIA. Be part of the famous 1000 miles rally that takes place every year in Italy using only 1930's race cars. This game has a poor sound quality and it is more like arcade game than racing game, but it's the first one that tried to implement a car behavior in a different racing conditions.
First released: Dec 1991

Play 1000 Miglia on Mac with Parallels (virtualized)

The easiest way to play 1000 Miglia on a Mac is through Parallels, which allows you to virtualize a Windows machine on Macs. The setup is very easy and it works for Apple Silicon Macs as well as for older Intel-based Macs.

Parallels supports the latest version of DirectX and OpenGL, allowing you to play the latest PC games on any Mac. The latest version of DirectX is up to 20% faster.

Our favorite feature of Parallels Desktop is that when you turn off your virtual machine, all the unused disk space gets returned to your main OS, thus minimizing resource waste (which used to be a problem with virtualization).
